<p>We use Sperzel Trim locs as our standard tuner and we also retro fit them to all manner of guitars. Yr headstock is 15mm thick which is standard Gibson. Sperzels dimension out as shown in the attached diagram. You have 22mm to the string bore which is 7mm above the peghead facing. Allowing a max of 2mm for the ferrules/nut and the fact that you dont wind on the strings (less than one full turn for Sperzels) you should have ample post height available. Our experience is…</p>

Sperzels dimension out as shown in the attached diagram. You have 22mm to the string bore which is 7mm above the peghead facing. Allowing a max of 2mm for the ferrules/nut and the fact that you dont wind on the strings (less than one full turn for Sperzels) you should have ample post height available. Our experience is thus and the post height also enhances the string break angle to the max which is what you want. Maybe you have an abnormally thick peghead? Anyway, that's a mystery but if you have problems you can try the Planet Waves lockers. </p> HI Joe,
