Well, I suppose the pickup could influence the acoustic sound, but that's a criticism we hardly ever hear from players. There isn't any easy way to test this kind of thing because it's a proven fact that for the finest discrimination of tone our memory is only a few seconds, so even the time to restring would be way past that.,
