Hi, Andrew. Just following up on your post regarding the orphan Brazilian rosewood. I bought a couple of chunks of the stuff from Hibdon Hardoods at the GAL convention here last June. Each chunk cost ~$45 and was good for 5 classical guitar bridge blanks. I was told that I had bought the absolute last of their stock. I'm quite sure that they'd like more of it. If the previous contact I gave you doesn't work out satisfactorily for you, you might want to try these guys. Contact info is

Best of luck with this. Please let me know how it goes and who gets it, please.

    Best regards,
    Bob

Andrew, thanks so much for thinking about me on this. I've been building with cocobolo more these days. I don't use it for bridges just because it is so heavy but would have a need for material that I could turn into peghead veneer. A couple of chunks that could be sawn up to make bookmatched veneers would be really nice to have. Anything in the stash that might work for that?

    Cheers,
    Bob
