CA fumes

Hello All,I like to use CA glue, and you probably do too, but the fumes affect me a lot. I use a fan to blow them away, but what remains is enough to give me cold symptoms for a day. Have you got a…Continue

Glu-boost got competitors?

Hello All,I've been watching videos of Glu-boost being used as a clear pore filler---what's not to like?  The price! It's possible that the stuff in that little bottle goes a long way, and that the…Continue

Profile Information

I make classical and flamenco guitars, and teach guitar making, here in the town of Fort Bragg, California, on the beautiful north coast. My wife and I moved here from Palo Alto sixteen years ago, and we love it!

In the early 1960's I spent 5 years making guitars, and at last decided that I had to do other things to make a living. In the early 1990's I was making furniture right in the middle of the Gryphon Stringed Instruments building, and all that contact with the luthiery guys reminded me of my first love. So in 1993 I went back to guitar making, and for the last several years I've been teaching it as well.
