Yep, that's it - just a regular masonry bit and some epoxy - I set the magnets just about flush with the surface, maybe a bit below, so I could sand off the epoxy that stuck up higher. They're 3/8 x 3/8 cylinders, but size really doesn't matter. . .
I see no immediate problem - we're all friends here, I hope.
