Hi Andrew,

The acoustic guys use epoxy to grain fill back and sides and then sand and finish over it, I haven't used West Systems in this role but would expect it to work as good as any other epoxy.  I would think that some thickener may be needed as a grain filler as the normal consistency of WS is very fluid like.
