I was watching a commentary by a noted luthier/dealer who stated the head stock is the first portion of a guitar that a customer looks at when they are shopping for a luthier-built guitar. What…Continue

Use your "back" function after the ditty is over.
Every part of this drum solo was used as the model for the rhythm functions on many of the original synthesizers.
A bit of history and current activities
I was a guitar/keyboard player in several mid-1960's rock/R&B bands. Being mechanically and electronically inclined, I setup, repaired, built, and modified my own equipment. Soon, I was also setting up, repairing, and modifying everyone else's equipment. I also made some electric "slabs" for a few friends. I kept Lutherie as a hobby, building a few instruments every year until 2008 when I sold my engineering consulting firm. Following my retirement plans, I started Lutherie as a full-time venture in 2009.
Well, I'm back in business again, un-retired you might say. I've actually initiated two LLC's with other people. The first is to market real and virtual learning aids targeting the worldwide technical training sector of education via internet marketing. The products will be 3D-assisted manufactured using, in part, nano-tech generated materials. We will also be marketing a newly patented and copyrighted group of of stringed instruments of which 80% will be 3DM'd. Both groups of products are from technologies developed in my R&D (read invention factory) facility located behind my home. No, it's not a garage it's a building. More products are in the mill. The other LLC is a highly organized house flipping operation with other family members and friends. I live in the middle of (sadly) the top flipping market in the Southeast United States. This is "the one" which will make wealthy beyond my dreams. I plan to give back a portion of this wealth to some of the many homeless families which generated these foreclosed and empty homes, specifically, fellow veterans. Hopefully I will be able to build or renovate a large apartment complex to house those veterans and their families until they don't need further assistance.
Once again, lutherie is more of a hobby which I presently don't have much time for.
Have a good day my friends, laughing or smiling at least once,
P.S. Does anyone actually read this? Please leave me a note if you do.

You nailed it! I checked the neck p/u and got a reading of 8.34k. I thought 14k seemed a bit high for a stock epiphone HB. Thanks for the advise. Cheers!
Hi Phil, sorry to be late getting back to you, the notification ended up in my junk email folder.
We don't actually have squirels here un Australia so I have no useful advice.
Termites are the great worrk here both for stored wood and house framing we need to block all potential pathways from the ground.
