My friends I am trying to assist someone on another forum who removed a bridge and took a lot of the top off in the process. In addition when clearing finish when the guitar was built for the bridge looks like the X-acto went a bit too deep cutting the top fibers along the trailing edge of the top where the bridge was glued.
I remember seeing and reading about Frank's excellent method of replacing the damaged area of the top with a "scoop" of new material but I can't find the threads or link to this info.
If anyone could please post a link that I could direct the OP on the other forum to it would be greatly appreciated?
TIA (Thanks in advance not this is Africa....)

Oh, now I understand. I thought you were asking Frank to numerate all of his "top" repair methods so we could see his number 1 technique. I was thinking that this could take a while.
Perfect - that's exactly the one Frank, many thanks!
Thanks too Ned for your efforts as well my friend!
