Hi there! I just acquired this turn of the century Whasburn guitar, There is a serial number but no model number visible. Old black and white paper badge inside. Serial 282449 The guy that sold it to me said it was from around 1910 but it may be earlier. Brazilian rosewood back and sides. Spruce top (I think) Thanks you for your time!

I have  no idea, but I love it!

Label puts it in the 1903 - 1907 I believe.

That's about all I can say about it except that the tuners are obviously not original.

Ok, thanks! Do you know what the original tuners should look like?

You might want to see if you can get your hands on a copy of Washburn Prewar Instrument Styles by Pleijsier Hubert for more info. Amazon carries it.
