The thing is that when he attacked me in January I had not "crossed him" - in fact I had never noticed him before. But he attacked me for stating I had over 30 years as a technician which is very true. I started as an electronics hobbiest before I was 16, I'm 56 now, and still have more of my house covered with electonics parts and equipment than any sane person would. Guitar work is a second interest - I was building and repairing amps before I was a good enough musician to play in public and only started working on guitars cuz in this small Appalachian county there wasn't anyone doing good work and one paid heavily for sloppy work. Sadly it's the same today but being disabled I only work for friends and on my own stuff these days.
How do you Aussies deal with pesky squirrels or similar pests?
They get into my sealed wood storage shed and the 2nd floor of my shop. They chew their way in and then chew and poo. My next step is to trap them and take them to an island in the Indian River. There will be reinforcements, I'm sure.
I can't shoot them (live in the city), and can't poison them without killing my Wife's cats.
I use WD-40, sprayed where I don't want them and small chlorine tabs thrown around. I also built some electronic noise generators which seem to work a bit. Have you got any ideas or similar problems/solutions that work on critters down under.?
