Hello All,I've always been a fan of hot hide glue since that was the only glue worth using when I started building, back in antediluvian times. I do recall some people reporting bad experiences with…Continue

Profile Information

I make classical and flamenco guitars, and teach guitar making, here in the town of Fort Bragg, California, on the beautiful north coast. My wife and I moved here from Palo Alto sixteen years ago, and we love it!

In the early 1960's I spent 5 years making guitars, and at last decided that I had to do other things to make a living. In the early 1990's I was making furniture right in the middle of the Gryphon Stringed Instruments building, and all that contact with the luthiery guys reminded me of my first love. So in 1993 I went back to guitar making, and for the last several years I've been teaching it as well.
