Well, it's a bit hard to say without having the banjo i hand. It's the first Reiter I've heard of developing a back bow, but humidity and other factors can certainly play a part in neck straigtness.
There's a possibility that a truss rod adjustment might take care of the issue - it does have an adjustable rod.
Just call ahead to make sure I'll be in the shop and we can have a look. . .

Thanks, Frank. I am driving through Palo Alto next Friday and will bring it in. If you're not there, I can just leave it for a few days, til I come back through on Tuesday.
