I've been playing the acoustic guitar for about thirty years now. For the most part I play for my own enjoyment but I also play for church worship services and special music.
I love the process of working out and arranging fingerstyle music. Even before I had a good enough instrument to enjoy the craft I could hear and see how it should be played in my head. My wife says that not everyone hears things in their head! That's too bad.
I'm a complete fanatic when it comes to how my guitars play. I found out early on that it's very hard to find a tech who can set my guitars up the way I like them. That's how I ended up here. I saw Frank Ford's articles on set-up and decided to fine-tune my current guitars. The advice here is great. I hope I can contribute in some area that may be beneficial to others in return.
