My buddy Mike wanted P-Bass pick-ups
installed into his De Armond Jet-Star Spel
. The wiring was surprisingly simple. Or I guess it is commonly known
that the P-Bass is one of the easiest wiring diagrams to follow.
The input jack he chose from www.StewMac.com
was a "Strat-style
" and therefore I had to smooth over the edges of the cavity that he
had over-zealously attempted to route for the jack. Thus why I had to create a custom pick guard to fill the gap from the excessively routed hole. I designed the pick guard from the De Armond
logo(as seen on the headstock).
