As an aside, the "2" does not mean the second day of May or July. It means Stratocaster and the "B" is width.

I made that mistake when I owned a Jazz Bass that I though was made on my birthday (though not the same year).

Additional info:

VG Magazine did a review feature on the American Vintage series this month.

It confirmed that the RW FB on the 60's Strat is a slab style FB.
