I have one of those critters and I think the tag inside of it was made in Portland Oregon in the early 1900s. When I get to the shop I can look if you want.
I will try to get some pictures today. Mine has been through a basement flood 2 times so it is not in good shape. It is all vener wood . My brother saw one in a second hand shop on Portland Oregon for sale and he said he would take it and the owner changed his mind and would not sell it. I may not get back to you until next week but will as soon as I can.
Hi, I believe you said you have a set of Kluson sealfast style tuners you would sell. I am looking for a set for my 75 L5s. What might you have?
Jimmy.
Hi Joshua... saw your recent posts and was reminded that a "final thank you" was in order. Thanks to your "Ultra" neck contribution, the recent Ovation project is complete, out-the-door and the customer is thrilled. What's more is I've got a goofy aluminum trophy neck hanging on the wall-of-shame! Thanks again. /// Mike Kolb
I think I may have been neglectful in specifying that my comments ONLY concern the quirks of a plain (unwound) G string. I couldn't find where that article addresses that issue, but I appreciate the copy nonetheless :)
I know there's a lot of confusion on the forum regarding the differences between electric & acoustic issues. I think that may be the case at hand.
Thanks again, Josh, and have a great weekend,
Paul
