Fret tang crimpers/mashers

Hi, chaps! Looking for cheaper alternative to the StewMac tang crimpers. Any ideas?

Make the tool yourself - that's what we ALL did years ago. Here's an article I first published on FRETS.COM more than two decades ago:

The photos are frame grabs from Hi-8 video tape, so they're low-res, but I think you can get what you need from them.

I'll have to do some looking, but there was a tool created that harnesses your Dremel and has a slot to feed the fret into the disk to trim the tang.
