Intonation 2007 Howard Roberts Fusion 3

Reasonably good guitar, frets o.k.@ the 12th then becomes flat towards the nut and sharp from 12 fret towards the bridge.
Is this a common problem with these instruments?
Is this fixable?

This is a wierd one ! Can you see any evidence of previous work? Are the strings OK ? It sounds like the nut is too close to the first fret , and also the bridge is too close to the neck .Len
