I just read the discussion about Gluing Blackwood.

I have just purchased a set of Malaysian blackwood from Allied Lutherie. I had wondered if there were gluing issues. Thanks.

I plan to build a single 0 or parlor from this set. I'm trying to decide whether I'm going to try an Engelmann (sp) top or stick with Adirondack.

Having never used a blackwood, do any of you who have, have a preference? The guitar will be fingerpicked.

    Thanks
