Parker Fly has loose frets

Hi all , does anyone know the best glue for the stuck-on frets on a parker fly ? Len

I DONT BUT WHEN I RE FRET I USE SUPPER GLUE THE HOBBY TYPE SPECIFICALLY THIN S GLUE .making sure to clamp the fret down to then drop, a drop i mean a drop into the fret end.Try using a tooth pick bend 90degrees and soak it in glue for a few minutes get a glue drop to hold, and place the drop at the fret end like suggested holding for at least 1 minuet after which you may or may not need to level crown and polish the entire fret board

If the frets have a tang, you can use CA glue. On Parker Fly, they should be half round with no tang, factory glued with epoxy. I've done it once or twice, using epoxy.

Thanks for those replies , This guitar has a carbon fibre fretbd. and the frets are glued to it with no slot or tang , I guess I will try epoxy.Len

I have had one of these in my repair shop for the same problem. Use the outline of where the fret was located as a guide and use superglue to re-install it. I have wondered what will happen when owners of these instruments need total refrets. I believe the fret material is stainless steel.

Yes, it is stainless steel, so no need for refret.
