Pickguard in masonite. Repair paint coat

Good morning!

I need to repair an old pickguard in masonite of a Danelectro Dc Bass. The pickguard is out of stock so it's impossible to replace. The problem with mine is that the white coat of paint is partially missing. What's teh best way in order to fix it? What do you suggest?
