Soundboard bellying.

Hi!

We got an older Epiphone acoustic, dried out wood...and...a soundboard belly problem.  Right now it's being humidified.  Does anyone have a good old fix to the bellying?? Wet and heat between 2 metal plates??

Personally I never worry about excessive belly, I just reset the neck to compensate for the belly. Of course you want to make sure all the bracing is glued solid, as that can cause bellying problems.
