I had to do a photoessay of the effects of blacklight on instruments a few years back. This was part of that essay. The guitar is a Collings D1HA Varnish and my lacquer Monteleone mando. The mando shows what 30 tours in a rock band will do to a pristine instrument! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?

Had to chuckle when the subject of a blacklight came-up. We have 10 (count 'em, ten) cats with us and use a blacklight (in conjunction with a cheap motion-activated spy cam) on a regular basis to see who's marking their territory and where!
It's kinda' like graffiti... if you don't get rid of it right away, there goes the neighborhood.
Apologies to Kerry for any attempted hijacking, but the subject brought back a number of less-than-pleasant memories!
PS: nope, no cats are allowed in the shop!
How about posting the pix here? I'm not a FB user.
Re the cats, we have 3. One of them was marking the basket of used cycling clothes I kept in the garage before I washed them. New location necessary!

I could not get anything to come up on the link?
