1970 FG-140 Yamaha neck reset

Does anyone know how Yamaha attached their necks to old FG-140s? What is the best way to get them off?

I reset the neck on my 1970s Yamaha FG75 a few years ago. It's a dovetail joint, held on with what seemed to be white glue. I used the standard technique of removing the 15th fret, drilling holes into the dovetail and injecting steam. My guess is the FG140 is the same.

I have read that Yamaha has used a reverse L joint at the neck. Ever see one of these?
