Gibson LGO neck joint

Is the dovetail location on a Gibson LGO similar in location to the dovetail location on a Martin (under about the 15th fret)? And does anyone know what kind of glue Gibson would have used in 1966 (e.g., white glue, hide glue)?

It's a dovetail. more or less under the 15th fret. Glue - I dunno, maybe hide.

Thanks, Frank - it came out pretty clean. It's going to be a nice guitar once the neck is set, I think.
