Can anyone tell me if Butyl Cellusolve will react with plastic binding?

If you dunk binding in the stuff it will melt. If you're spraying it on to reamalgamate a crazed finish be careful near binding because it will soften.

Kee-rect! As the trademarked name implies, "Cellosolve ® " dissolves celluloid.

Some years ago I got a pointy reminder from Union Carbide that they own the Cellosolve trademark, and if I were to use the name on my Web site, I'd better capitalize it and use the "®" symbol. . .
