Epiphone "Sheraton"
I am building a new neck for a early 90's "Sheraton" (broken headstock-unrepairable). I have ivoroid binding I can make work, but I'm having trouble finding the 5-ply b/w/b/w/b purfling to match the existing fingerboard (all I've found is MUCH thicker). Any suggestions for a resource? Bill, Thanks for the reply. Stew-Mac won't fill the bill, this time-at least without a lot of scraping. The 5-ply measures 2.5 mm-which puts each ply at approx. .013 (did the math by hand, so I hope it's still right LOL). If I've been living right, perhaps some tech has a stick of the purfling lying in a drawer somewhere.... Thanks again, Stuart
