Filled a ding with Titebond but it went black.

Hi Guys , I have a cheap acoustic here with a small ding in the soundboard , I glued a wafer of spruce in the main area and filled around it with titebond. It looks ok but the titebond went dark in spots . Would that be fungal ? any ideas please ?
