I got a 1931 OM-18p from Lundberg many years ago - (around 1973) that was converted to 6 string with a D-18 neck. I loved it. Unfortunately it was stolen from me in 1976 or so and I have been looking for it, or something like it ever since. Does it make any sense to find another tenor to do that to?

Speaking from the dealer collector standpoint "No way in hell". If on the other hand you should find a body "sans" neck that would be a different story. The attraction of the plectrum model would be the light bracing but there are other guitars out there that are comparable in sound and you would not destroy a valuable piece of history.
