My 1976 M. Sakurai classical had a fairly "standard" saddle slot dimension and one of the premade compensated Tusq ones dropped in with a modest amount of thickness sanding. While trying out the Tusq one, I sent the original (worn-out and grooved) bone saddle to Bob Colosi who duplicated it in bone for a very reasonable price. His turnaround was extremely quick, helped by the fact that he's in Georgia and I'm in South Carolina.

He also can supply "standard" bone saddles for many popular guitar models, perhaps you should contact him through his web page and see if he can source you a CG151C saddle without having to send yours to him for duplication.
Good idea, thak you for the recomendation.
Unless you're accustomed to doing this type of work, you'll want to take Brent's lead and look for someone in the area that can install a saddle for you. A generic saddle ordered from someone could very easily not give you the action you're looking for. A certain level of measuring and fitting is involved to get it working the way you want it to.

I don't know anyone in the Manteca area but you have a couple of options. One is to run it in to Gryphon Music in Palo Alto and get Frank's shop to do the work. The other is to take it over to Paul's shop in Modesto. I'm sure he could do a decent job for you.

Cheers,
Bob
Who is Paul?
Just look up Paul on this forum's member list. Or see his post at http://fretsnet.ning.com/forum/topics/guitar-building-tools-must.
Any one that builds and repairs on a amature of profenal level can do you a good job. But he needs the guitar or he wont do it.
