Replacement fret wire

I am re-fretting a 1964 Rose Morris Rickenbacker 1997 and need to find a fret wire with a similar footing but a higher crown. By default, Rick frets are 2mm wide by 1mm high (approx). I was thinking of something maybe a little wider and definitely higher.

I've asked on the Rick boards but had no reply in 3 days so maybe my question is deemed blasphemous for going 'against the grain' so to speak! What do you guys suggest?
