FRETS.NET

Just came up with this tonight...Was doing fret work on a Fendender neck tonite...I have a jig set up on my bench to do fenders, but I got lazy and ended up spending more time coming up with this idea....I hit the back of the headstock and the heel of the neck with some low tack masking tape....I double stick taped a piece of 36 grit sandpaper ti an 1/8 th inch thick piece of leather, and taped it to the headstock and heel tape...Put that on your carpeted bench top and it holds the neck plenty snug for dressing etc.....Good night, Irene
