Sorry about your difficulty. I've had that happen a few times on other forums myself, but I've presumed it had something to do with timing out or an action I took but didn't notice. Haven't had other reports on FRETS.NET, but I wouldn't be too surprised if others have, because it's a kinda bare bones thing (cost, you know). When I got started with NING, I had a pal working there so I had special access to support.
I have taken over Dan Armstrong guitars! I need to at least know how to spot good or poor quality new fret work. Got Erlewine's Basic Fret Work DVD. It seem to focus on repairing frets. Did not get a good understanding how to do quick quality work.
