I never did get a solution. the best advice that seemed to help was making a light pass with a nut file giving the slot a more downward angle towards the headstock. Other than that I have either gotten rid of the guitars with the problem or learned to live with it. It is extremely frustrating. Some say it is a secondary harmonic but I do not believe this. If you find a solution let me know. Also coated strings help sometimes. I have even tried one gauge thicker strings on B and E but that only helped somewhat.
I'm gonna try the angle thing . I'll have to get a file . I checked the frets all the way down the neck . A couple frets were just a little high, but not enough to cause vibes . When I payed that much for a guitar , I expect it to be right .Pretty disappointing .
