Hi Louis- the mold that I used was my own design and I hand made it my self.
Its kind of hard to describe what I did however I can tell you that it works real well.
this mold is made for the type of classic where the sides are put into the neck,
rather than the neck being a separate part of the guitar.
there are two books that you might want to get and read and use as a reference,
Guitar making tradition and technology,by WilliamR. Cumpiano and Lonathan D. Natelson
the second on is Classical guitar making by John S. Bogdanovich
Hope this helps and good luck with your build :-)
Peace,
Donald
Good evening Donald"

What type of plans did you use for your mold?.
Thanks.

Turned out real pretty Don. If it sounds as good as it looks I'd say you have a winner there.
Here is the finished classical guitar that I have been working on- it rings like the bells of ST.Marys
and I'm pleased the way it came out.
Features--
rosewood back and sides
engleman spruce top
spanish cedar neck
ebony fret board-nickel silver frets
bone nut and saddle
true oil finish
Enjoy and thanx for viewing

Man I can't wait to see the completed instrument. Hit a woodworking store near you. "Fine Woodworking" magazine had an article on bending wood and it showed how to build a hot pipe. That would be the fastest and least expensive way to get into it. Not sure if it was the March or April issue but it wasn't long ago. Looks great.
I wet the sides real good to get them to be where they are Bob, Im not too happy with the sides but its something that I will live with for this build. I have a set of mahog. sides that I am going to try to bend to see what happens. I'm not verry well versed on bending wood and I think if I'm going to make another then I would say that I had better get with it.. meanwhile can you maby give me some hints as to how to do it??
Any help will be appreciated..
cheers--
