CA Glue on Finish

I got a little CA glue on neck just below the fretboard.  What’s the best way, if any, to remove it?

What finish is on this instrument? Anything that dissolves CA will dissolve nitrocellulose lacquer, but might not harm a poly finish.

Not sure.  It’s a Yamaha

Dampen a QTip with acetone and test on a small spot of the neck. To be really safe you can remove a tuner and test in its footprint. It shouldn't harm the finish, but it will dissolve the CA.

right, poly = easy removal with superglue solvent, nitro = total scraping, sanding and buffing project
