A very nice man I befriended gave this guitar to me and wouldn't accept a payment for it. He did want me to find out the make though, so I thought I would see if anyone here knows. It is a foe resonator with mostly birch construction. The only body section that isn't birch is the "resonator" area which is spruce. The two upside down triangles are screens and the cover is nickel plated. It certainly is unusual. Thank you in advance for any help or insight you might have.

I have seen those before, but I can't recall a brand label. Clearly it's one of the various cheap resonator "look-alikes" that were prevalent during the period of Hawaiian guitar popularity.
I'm not sure but I believe this is one of the "Oahu" or "Ohau" (can't remember the specific spelling) guitars. I gave away one a few years ago that was quite similar but with a black finish.

If I had to bet on it I'd say it's made by Harmony. Strictly a gut reaction.
ILL BET IT IS A SMALL BUILDER LIKE ONE OF US FROM BACK IN THE DAY
