Possible to fix the lacquer after a back has been taken off and put back on?
So though I have taken the back off maybe 6 or 7 of my own axes over the years, I have never even considered working on the lacquer afterwards. Is it possible to get this looking original, or close to original again?

The entire back will come off and go back on. The edges are always lacquer damaged, this is what I am asking for help with..

Well I just take a little Artis brush and build up the lacquer were it is missing and then sand it flush and buff it all up again . Good uck Bill.''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
