1929 Martin 2-17(or #25?), questions about condition

Hi, I have this one in for repair.  It needs a neck reset, new bar frets, misc. crack repair, and perhaps something on the bridge(and new tuners).  It's obviously had work done on it(of mixed quality) in the past.

- The fingerboard is in good condition.  It has a definite compound radius, which I was surprised to see(7.25" at the nut, graduated to 12" @ the 12th fret, then 20"@ the fingerboard end). Is this original?

- The bridge appears to be full height, but the saddle slot seems very shallow(3/32" in the center of the slot).  How deep would this have been originally?

- The bar frets measure .046" thick. The neck relief, under tension, is good. I can't reuse the old frets for the refret(they've been ground way down, almost flush is a few spots).  For the refret, can anyone advise what thickness of fret wire I might use(the same, or oversize)?  I see TJ Thompson sells a good selection of bar wire stock.
