Question for Frank Ford

Frank, on your Fret.com site you have a picture of a Martin 1943 Dread top showing the bracing. What was the top thickness on this old geezer. How does the bracing on this top compare to Martins Golden Era and Authentic bracing of today ?

Sorry, but I didn't measure the top thickness. As to the bracing, it's the later style. Martin calls the early style "forward shifted" even though it predates the now standard bracing. The Authentic and GE have forward shifted braces.
