FRETS.NET

I caused two very light scratches on the back of my Eastman 810CE, and I'm wondering if I can polish them out myself. They are very slight - when I run my fingers over them I can barely feel any indentation.

I came across a website - www.guitarscratchremover.com - that sells a polish which it claims can remove a scratch successfully, without messing up the guitar's finish.

Does anyone know this site and its products? Am I crazy to tackle this on my own?

Thanks.

I'd forget about it, until you really scratch it up, then I'd probably forget about that too.
Don't know anything about the product you mention, but they can be buffed out with various grits of wet and dry sand paper and polishing compounds, just be careful about going thru the finish.

I know of nothing that would remove scratches without removing some finish too. Sounds like a marketing gimmick. If you have never buffed out lacquer before, you may want someone experienced to do it.
