Add extension nut ,play short time,took it off,how to come back original guitar action?

Hi There,

 

I wish can play lap slide on  my acoustic flat top,so,i bought extension nut,simply  installed  a nut extension on my guitar,and play for a short time,and i found extension nut  probably add stress on the neck when doing this,

so, i took it off,try to play few songs on regular standard  tuning,and i found string action not so comfortable ,

and open g string (3rd string) cause buzz ,before add extension nut,guitar have comfortable low action ,and no buzz ,

now.it' change,oh..oh....headache.

(Guiatr is slotted headstock parlor guitar,light gauge strings on it)

 

Hopefully someone can help,let me know how to fix this problem.

Any advice,i am greatly appreciated.

re humidify top ? maby new nut if you are buzzing id first check the neck for relief then nut action and 3rd saddle action while checking out the intonation .with strings on in full tension .and if all 3 look good check your frets out for high low frets with a fret rocker .
