Guitar Label Design and Printing Since I went commercial with classical guitar building about 4 years ago, I've been sticking labels in my guitar that were designed with Adobe Illustrator and printed on my inkjet printer. I thought they looked okay at the time but the style and execution is looking pretty dated and amateurish relative to how my guitars are now. I'm motivated to upgrade my label to something that looks more professsional and mainstream but I have two problems. First, my creative juices are failing me when it comes to design and, second, I'm basically clueless on where to start to get a design and then get it printed. Can anyone help? It'd be greatly appreciated.

What image are you trying to convey? I like oval labels printed on cream or tan parchment for a look of quality. Type face, white space and ornaments all must work together for the right message. You can do it in Illustrator. Send me what copy you want and I'll send you a design to get you started thinking. I've done lots of logos for different groups and businesses
Unless you're aspiring to a mass-produced look, why not a hand-drawn label on good acid-free art paper?
