FRETS.NET

Hello I am introducing myself here. My name is Bob Tedrow, I currently live in Alabama although Colorado is home.

I plan to lurk and lurn. Although I now build replicas of Victorian Era concertinas, I am a guitar and banjo player. I first "built" a banjo from parts I bought from Stew Mac in 1970. I learned to write on a Big Chief tablet.

Now you know how old I am.

If you would like to see images of my work, I am at http://hmi.homewood.net

Very happy to be aboard.

Welcome Bob!

Enjoyed stopping by at your website.
Lot of beauties there....
Bob,
I just finished going through your pages on bellows construction. I'm in total awe! My father and I once restored an old pump organ. The bellows we "repaired" was nothing compared to these and we struggled like crazy getting the leather fitted correctly. I've worked with hide glue and wood enough to know that I would have glue everywhere if I tried to do what your doing. I'm totally impressed. I even created a new folder to bookmark your site, something I haven't needed to do for a long time. ( For an old computer guy, anyway, this is pretty rare. )

Ned.
Glad you enjoyed the webpage. Believe me, I made many poor sets of bellows before I came up with that procedure.
