I have found these great inexpensive inspection cameras online through amazon. They are anywhere from $15 to $35. I would just order them and use it BUT I am afraid they won't work with my Apple products. I figured I'd ask around before I just shot in the dark. I only have Apple products. Here is a link to one I was planning on purchasing.

These cameras look like they would be an inexpensive way to inspect inside guitars. They hook up to your computer and take photos and videos, and have the added benefit of a big display(your computer and in some cases tablet or phone) than one of those hand held jobs.

So if anyone has any success or failures with one of these using Apple products let me know.

why not just buy one and see?  If it doesn't work, Amazon will take it back, including return shipping.  Recognize that several Apple products (iPhone, iPads) don't have USB ports so that could be a problem... .

Cool device.  I have a tablet that would be particularly convenient to use with it.

Yea that's what I plan on doing, I guess is figured it would try and ask before I just shoot in the dark. I know I'm looking at issues with having it on my phone or iPad but I'm thinking it should be ok on my computer which has a usb. There are adapters for iPhone and iPads to incorporate a usb but not sure if it will work. I'd be ok if it worked on my laptop. Anyway if no one has experience I'll just order one and like you said return it if it fails to meet my expectations.

Luke, one of the reviewers indicates that it worked with his Mac. There seems to be an issue with the clarity of the picture on almost all of these low priced units. It looks like the units that cost a bit more are also somewhat better. Can't say for sure since I'm only reading reviews.
