FRETS.NET

Hi, I have a Mandolinetto that I listed on ebay yesterday. A couple of fellow instrument enthusiasts have sent me messages saying I should check out the Frets.net discussion and other resources, so here I am. I found some pix of Mandolinettos on the Atlas of Plucked Instruments. the item number is 260445079831. Have to admit I'm more of a fiddle collector than a fretted instrument collector, so any info about this cute little instrument is welcome.
Thanks!
Sunny

It's as cute as a button... interesting little instrument. For anyone wanting a quick look, it's here:

The only competition in the category seems to be:

Despite its serious structural issues, it is, as you say, a cute little critter. And an early Regal, too. The Indianapolis label puts it right at the turn of the 20th Century.
It seems Brazilian Rosewood B/S.
