Tail Piece suggestion

I like tailpieces these days ...i used a nice cabinet hinge for one.Most recent is a metal shoehorn.I'm sure it's been done before however personally believe I thought of it first!Anyway shoehorns seem to be a great alternative to other less H/D types.I flattened the scoop ..straightened the whole thing then bent it to fit..oh yeah bored holes for ballends which enter thru top and look fine to me!!Hole in the end accepts a strap knob nicely...jus' sayin'...holes drilled to mount to tailblock too..

The olives as dampeners are a nice touch too.

Seriously, that is a really cool idea!!
