I have read on guitar forums both yes and no. Some say it is ok to make minor neck adjustments with the truss rod to lower action, while others say no, you should shave the saddle a bit, and even…Continue

Yes, it is very playable and has a sweet sound. the action is a bit high but not really bad, only if you play past the 4th fret. I almost hate to get rid of it but I have something else I want to buy and need to thin the herd. I would like to get $100 for it. let me know.

Actually, it's not really bad past the fourth fret.

I don't know if you can edit the title, but I can, so I made the change and deleted your typo message  - hope that's what you had in mind.

Your question about the best saddle. The people you are talking to only know, bone, Ivory, Tusq, and other plastic, TUSQ is also plastic. So they really can't answer a question they do not know the answer to. I chose to sen it to you instead of a forum post, because that comes off as an add. I hate any forum add (the main reason to stay away for the AGF).

The answer is the DLC PyC . Best known for mechanical heart valves. it has the conductivity of Diamond (the reason diamond is called ice it feels cold, very cold).

Read our first USPTO utility patent on PyC often confused with the room temperature levitating Pyrolytic graphite, scientist use the common term Pyrolyrtic Carbon or PyC.Is much harder than graphite, about a little harder than mild steel. USPTO # 8,110,729.

This is for real, impossible to believe until you see/ hear it too. Also nuts, frets, saddles, and more all with some/hybrid  or solid PyC

My 1993 D41L Martin in the photo has a W T Mesquite hybrid with 6 DLC inserts.

Which is the only way to get a Martin to sound right, because ivory is not legal, and a Martin with a bone saddle, and any string does not sound like a 1929-1969. We can get them to sound like a 29-69, because Martin did not move the braces in 1969 when they stopped using Ivory saddles. I love the people at Martin too.
