Paul, I today received a bunch of pics of an axe that you worked on a few years ago, and I certainly figure you will remember it. It was a renecked Kay Kraft Mandola. As you may know, I host Facebook's Kay Kraft Guitar site, and I am pretty sure that at 35 axes, I have the largest collection of KKs on the planet. Anyway, if you can remember anything about it? The back/sides were refinished when neck was redone, and the amazing brass tailpiece was pretty cool too. I am wondering if you have an idea who it was that did the repairwork/modification? I''d like to get hold of him, as I have a few questions... Thanks Bucko!
Now I can pick your brain! For starters, How does Djanjo sound so fat playing his Selmer when almost everyone else sounds so thin and nasal on those guitars ?

Are there any photos on the Facebook page? Or anywhere? I'm kind of drawing a blank here so far, but perhaps if I see it...?
my real email is musicATlutherie.net, which might be better anyway.
Cheers,
