I may need to replace the bridge on a 1974 D-18S. The saddle slot has already been moved once(and incorrectly relocated), and the bridge is lifting. While I'm able to make a new one, I would use a ready made one, if the footprint is close, and the string spacing is right(2-5/16"). Stewmac, LMI, and Martin do not offer them. Anyone have a source?

To do it up proper you'll probably have to make it from scratch. I've used pre-made bridges on a couple of newer martins but older ones always seem to have footprints that either don't match modern replacements or the footprint, pin holes and saddle slot don't all align as the replacement is made.

I've just seen the prototypes of LMI's newest bridges.  They are accurate Martin style, and at first will be available only in 2-1-8 spcing as standard and oversize footprint.  BUT, the will also have undrilled unrolled ones for vintage work - they look great, and should save many of us a bunch of time.

As far as I know these will be the first on the market that have the correct general profile.
